[Outlander Summary] S05E12: Never My Love.


The season finale episode is a mix of what left from previous episode and what would happen to Jamie & Claire's life in another universe. Lionel Brown kidnapped Claire and seeking revenge for her little newspaper column as Dr. Rawlings. They took her to Brownville. Weak, hurt, violated, and alone, Claire start to imagine what her life look like with Jamie and the rest of Fraser family if they lives in her, Bree, and Roger time, the future.

There's a hope to escape from Lionel Brown, when one of Lionel's men, Wendigo Donner, is another time traveler and recognized some of the things Claire said. Meanwhile Bree, Roger, and Jeremy woke up at the same spot of the circle stone, confess to each other that they were thinking about home when touching the stone. Luckily, young Ian still at the same place as well.

The family save Claire and punish Lionel and his men for what they deserved.

Jamie Fraser's Monologue:

I have lived through war and lost much. I know what's worth a fight
and what is not. Honor and courage are matters of the bone. And what a man will kill for, he'll sometimes die for, too.

A man's life springs from his woman's bones, and in her blood is his honor christened. For the sake of love alone will I walk through fire again?.

[Outlander Summary] S02E10: Prestonpans.

Claire Fraser Monologue #1: How many men had I seen killed in war?. This Highlander who had run afoul of a Redcoat patrol was only the latest one. The rebellion Jamie and I had laboured so hard to prevent was upon us. Our only hope was that somehow we could change the outcome. I feared in my heart that history would not be rewritten. That no matter how many battles we might win, victory would remain forever out of reach. How many men had I seen killed in war?. Far, far too many. [Outlander Summary] S01E04: The Gathering.

Claire starting to plan her escape. When she play with children outside the Castle Leoch , she will left breadcrumbs on her escape path. For a person from 20th century, seeing a 18th century highlander gathering is fascinated for Claire. And she's actually enjoy the festive. Claire Randall Monologue #1: The hunting game was more than a pleasant diversion. It allowed me to reconnoiter the terrain around the castle without suspicion. So far I had found at least two possible escape routes, and left breadcrumbs to mark my way to freedom.
