[Outlander Summary] S05E08: Famous Last Words.


Recovering from his trauma, physically & mentally, with Claire help, 3 months after the incident, Roger trying to get to his old self and his voice back to at least communicate with others so he can share with them what really happened when they caught him at regulators camp.

As a wife, Bree try her best to support her dear husband. For the compensation of his action towards Roger, governor Tryon offer Bree and Roger 5.000 acres of land.

Being the only close family of Murtagh, Jocasta and Jamie still mourning for the lose of the man they both love and care. When Jamie and Claire playing with Jeremy, Young Ian show up and save them from a wild boar. Living with Mohawk for several years sharp Young Ian into a different person.

Roger and Young Ian went to survey the land that the governor offered and bond through life experience and the same situation they're currently in that makes them a new persons.

Jamie and Claire sail to Jamaica to save Young Ian. The crew thinks a woman on ship is a bad luck, so they have been ignoring Claire all day. Jamie take Willoughby and Fergus with them. Jamie having a nightmare about Randall when he's sleeping at night. As a loving wife, Claire try to comfort him. Claire also need some adjustment to run Jared's big house that have several maids and guards. Claire Fraser Monologue #1: Running a great house in Paris had proved more complicated than I'd ever imagined. [Outlander Summary] S02E03: Useful Occupations and Deceptions.

Jamie has been busy between manage Jared's wine business & try to hold the meeting that Prince Charles demand with Joseph Duverney. When they having a tea and card play a Louise's, Mary Hawkins revealed where she come from. Claire immediately remember why Mary Hawkins name sounds familiar to her. She's Frank's direct ancestor. Claire Fraser Monologue #1: Somewhere in the back of my mind I must have known. If Jack Randall had really died at Wentworth Prison, he obviously could not later wed Mary Hawkins and sire Frank's direct ancestor. And in that case, Frank himself would never exist. Perhaps I hadn't allowed myself to think about it until now, but I was faced with the terrible knowledge that Frank's very existence now depended on Jack living for at least another year.
