[Outlander Summary] S03E08: First Wife.


Claire Fraser Monologue #1:

Here I was, at the place that had been imprinted forever in my head and on my heart. It was home once. It didn't appear that anything had changed, but somehow, nothing felt the same.

At Lallybroch, Jenny have a mixed feeling when she met Claire again. Ian and Jenny are mad when they know Young Ian has been staying with his uncle all this time and they didn't know about it. More mad when they found out Ian selling illegal liquor for Jamie and brag he's good at it.

Jamie tells Jenny to stop treat Young Ian as a child because he's a man now. He's more have free spirit than his other siblings. Jenny ask Jamie what really happened with Claire. Not ready to tell the truth, Jamie making up stories about her wife. Jenny looks doubtful.

When Jamie tell a story about him escape from Ardsmuir prison to search the treasure hidden, Laoghaire and 2 young girls storm in their bedroom and call him daddy. Claire is so angry and get into the fight with Jamie when she realize Laoghaire and Jamie are married now.


The next day when Claire decided to leave Lallybroch, Laoghaire came with a pistol in her hand wants to kill Claire. She shot Jamie accidentally. Claire is successfully take the pellets out of Jamie's shoulder. When he's conscious, Claire ask Jamie to explain why he marry Laoghaire.

Ned Gowan gave them advice to make reconciliation with Laoghaire. 20 pounds to pay Laoghaire is too much for Jamie, so he plan to get that hidden treasure on Silkie Island. Since Jamie couldn't swim with his wounded shoulder, Young Ian volunteer.

From a far, Jamie and Claire watching a group of pirate capture Young Ian when he's making his way down after he fetch the treasure box.

Claire Fraser Monologue #1: How many men had I seen killed in war?. This Highlander who had run afoul of a Redcoat patrol was only the latest one. The rebellion Jamie and I had laboured so hard to prevent was upon us. Our only hope was that somehow we could change the outcome. I feared in my heart that history would not be rewritten. Outlander Official Season 5 Premieres & NYCC 2019 Contest Winner.

The Droughtlander finally over!. Well, not really hahaha. STARZ released an official season 5 release date. The Fraser will be back on Feb. 16, just 2 days after Valentine's day. I have a feeling they doing this on purpose :). Outlander season 5 will be based on book fifth, The Fiery Cross , and only have shorter episodes (12 episodes) than season 4. The filming that started in April leaked some of behind of the scene pictures that makes fans excited. [Outlander Summary] S01E04: The Gathering.

Claire starting to plan her escape. When she play with children outside the Castle Leoch , she will left breadcrumbs on her escape path. For a person from 20th century, seeing a 18th century highlander gathering is fascinated for Claire. And she's actually enjoy the festive. Claire Randall Monologue #1: The hunting game was more than a pleasant diversion. It allowed me to reconnoiter the terrain around the castle without suspicion. So far I had found at least two possible escape routes, and left breadcrumbs to mark my way to freedom. The victory day celebrations in London and Paris far exceeded the gathering of the Mackenzie clan in terms of sheer size, but this was something different... simple joy, unencumbered by the trauma of war or the exhaustion of its end.
