[Outlander Summary] S03E03: All Debts Paid.


Jamie was sent to Ardsmuir Prison in 1755, the same prison where Murtagh is. The new warden Major John Grey is the same person that Jamie spare his life when he sneak to highlander camp in Corrieyairack. In Ardsmuir Prison, Jamie gained some respect among prisoners and they treated him as their chief. The new warden looks familiar to Jamie but couldn't place him.

To continue the previous warden tradition, John Grey invite Jamie to supper. A group of Ardsmuir Prison guards met a man on street whose rambling about a cursed treasure. John Grey ask Jamie assistance to translate what the man might have to say. To make Jamie accept the request, John Grey get his irons chain struck off.

Shocking with the information the wandering man told him, Jamie tells little to John Grey. Jamie manage to get John Grey approval to let prisoners to hunt food for themselves. On one of the hunt day, Jamie escaped and confront John Grey about their past.


Jamie and the warden starting to have a trusted friendship. John Grey provide medical check to Murtagh and they bonded through chess game and life experience. Jamie reject John Grey when the younger man show some affection towards him.

The British army decide to close Ardsmuir Prison and remove all the prisoners. Knowing he couldnt give Jamie his freedom, John Grey took him to Helwater to serve Lord Dunsany.

Meanwhile in Boston, 1958, Claire received her diploma from medical school. When they have a small celebration party at home, Frank's other woman show up. The situation caused a heated argument and a divorce discussion.

After Brianna graduated from high school, Frank finally decided to file a divorce. He wants to get back to England and take Bree with him. When she's in the hospital, Claire got a news about Frank involved in car accident.

The opening scene of Outlander S02E13: Dragonfly in Amber is bring us to Scotland, 1968. Claire bring Brianna back to Scotland to give the last respect to a man who help her during her stay in Inverness with Frank, The Reverend. Every corner of Reverend's house bring Claire so many memories. Roger offer Claire and Brianna to stay at the house instead of drive back to London. [Outlander Summary] S02E10: Prestonpans.

Claire Fraser Monologue #1: How many men had I seen killed in war?. This Highlander who had run afoul of a Redcoat patrol was only the latest one. The rebellion Jamie and I had laboured so hard to prevent was upon us. Our only hope was that somehow we could change the outcome. I feared in my heart that history would not be rewritten.
