[Outlander Summary] S02E04: La Dame Blanche.


Comte St.Germain approach Jamie (accompany by Claire) while he's having a chess game with Joseph Duverney in Versailles Palace. Claire leave Jamie to his game and suddenly got choked up with something she drink. She's having a hard time to breath. Jamie and Claire have their suspicious it's St.German doing, but they don't have proof.

Jamie has an idea to host a dinner where Duke of Sandringham and Prince Charles are invited. He's hoping Prince Charles will make a mistake in front of the Duke and later withdrawal from the Jacobite rebellion fund. Before agree with the plan, Claire finally tells Jamie Jack Randall is still alive.

Claire visit Master Raymond store, asking if he any chance sell bitter cascara to St. German, because of her sudden ill that almost cause her lost the baby. Master Raymond take Claire to his secret room to avoid from The King prying eyes. Claire is fascinated with all the stuff Raymond keep inside his secret room. The man also show her a little bit magic trick and give prophecy regarding Frank.

To protect Claire, Raymond give her a necklace. The pendant stone will change colour in the presence of poison. While visiting Louise, the French woman inform Claire she's pregnant, but it's not her husband's. She wants to get rid of it and asking for Claire's help. Back at home, Claire got mad when she found a bite mark on Jamie thigh.


Late at night, Jamie and Claire heard noises from the roof. Turn out it's Prince Charles. From his story and his wound hand, Claire have suspicion he is Louise's lover. They decided to invite Louise and her husband to dinner to distract Charles, hoping he cant control himself in front of Sandringham.

The charity hospital call Claire for emergency medical care on the day the dinner held. To make sure Claire gets home right before dinner, Jamie ask Murtagh and Fergus to come along with her. Mary Hawkins help Claire in the hospital. Because of the carriage wheel's broken, Claire decided to get home by walking.

When they pass a quiet street, a group of men attack them. Being the only man, there's nothing Murtagh can do. He got knocked down. The attacker suddenly stop, run away, and shout "La Dame Blanche" when one of them saw Claire.

Claire Fraser Monologue #1:

Still reeling from the attack, I couldn't help staring at St Germain and wondering whether he could have orchestrated such violence and then sat calmly across the table from me two hours later, sipping his soup.

The conversation around the table are full of jokes and tension when Jamie congrats Louise for her pregnancy. The dinner is over when they heard noises from other room.

[Outlander Summary] S01E01: Sassenach.

For a tv show, the first episode is very important. Because it will determine whether the audience will continue watching or not. Well, I belong to this category. There is no chance for the second or third episode hehehe. Outlander S01E01 "Sassenach" managed to attract me to watch the next episodes because of the interesting and solid storyline, and strong characteristics. [Outlander Summary] S01E11: The Devil's Mark.

Claire and Geillis are taken to underground prison or what the warden call it a thieves' hole. They both keep blaming each other for the arrest. Claire say it's Laoghaire who arrange the letter tell her to go to Geillis house. Geillis eventually admit it, she poison her husband so she can marry Dougal. Standing in front of judges and crowded room, they are both accused for the crime of witchcraft. Claire Fraser Monologue #1: There were no familiar faces in the crowd, none of my friends from Castle Leoch. My knowledge of witch trials told me that the accused rarely walked free. Claire sigh a little bit relieve when Ned Gowan show up in the room. Ned give an argument that the trial itself is illegal because the witchcraft act was repealed by the House of Lords in 1735.
