Claire Fraser Monologue #1:

During the war, I had treated men in far worse shape, their horrific injuries almost unfathomable to the human mind, but none of them were my husband.

It was a long, nerve-wracking job.
Some parts, such as the splinting of the two fingers with simple fractures, went quite easily. Others did not.
Setting his middle finger required exerting considerable force in order to draw the ends of the splintered bone back through the skin.

Jamie had said to me once, "I can bear pain myself, but I could not bear yours. That would take more strength than I have."
He was right. It did take strength. I hoped that each of us had enough.

I began to lose awareness of anything outside the job I was doing. I was afraid of infection, particularly, but otherwise was fairly sure the fingers would heal.

The shattered joint would likely leave him with a stiff ring finger, but the others might function normally in time.

In the chapel, Claire make a confession about herself to a priest. Willie spot the redcoats who sent to search them. They cant risk monastery safety anymore, they need a plan. Claire decided they go to Jamie's cousin in Paris, France. Willie visit Jamie in his room to give some strength and encouragement. With broken soul, Jamie ask Willie to hand over his blade.

Tired, physically and emotionally, Claire fainted in the middle of conversation with Murtagh. As a person who watching Jamie grew up to become a proud highlander, Murtagh say the only way to save Jamie is for someone to step into the darkness with him. With oil of lavender she made, Claire take that responsibility. In the end she found out what else happened in that Wentworth cell.

With a ship Murtagh bought 50 coins in gold, the three of them sail to France. Headed to unknown future, on the ship Claire tell Jamie she's pregnant.

And how many times have my prayers been answered?. Part 2 Time is a lot of the things that people say God is. There's the preexisting and having no end. There's the notion of being all-powerful, because nothing can stand against time, not mountains, not armies. Give anything enough time, and everything is taken care of: all pain encompassed, all hardship erased, all loss subsumed. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Remember, Man, thou art dust, and unto dust thou shalt return. And if time is anything akin to God, I suppose that memory must be the devil. The episode begin with a flashback of Claire and Bree in Boston after Frank died. Jamie and his militia arrive in Hillsborough to collect men and meet with Lieutenant Knox. Knox gave Jamie a letter from governor Tyron that say he intends to pardon th...
