[Outlander Summary] S03E12: The Bakra.


The episode open with a flashback when Ian was taken by pirate when he tried to fetch the treasure for Jamie. They put him on cell with 2 others people (Henry & Abeeku) as soon as they arrived in Jamaica. A guard took Ian to meet The Bakra, who turn out is Geillis Duncan. Geillis try to get an information from Ian why there are only 2 sapphires in treasure box. Ian told her maybe his uncle took it.

Claire Fraser Monologue #1:

Jamaica, the jewel of the Caribbean. I had seen pictures in travel brochures... Rum drinks with little umbrellas in them.

This was a bit more primitive. Still, after months at sea, the bustling port could not have been a more welcome sight. Our dearest hope was that Young Ian was close and that Captain Leonard was not.

Claire and Jamie arrive in Jamaica and welcome by Jared's colleague. Claire and Jamie look for Ian at slave market and didn't find him there. However Jamie bought a slave on Claire's name, a man that she tried to save when treated bad at market slave.


Knowing the new governor bought slaves from The Bruja, Jamie and Claire decided to accept Kenneth Maclver invitation to attend governor grand ball. Jamie is surprised when he find out the new governor is John Grey. From across the room Geillis watching Jamie & Claire interaction with John Grey.

Claire and Geillis finally got a chance to have a conversation. Claire confused how Geillis can escaped the pyre. Geillis explain her pregnancy save her because the unborn child is innocent so they couldn't carry out the sentence, and Dougal helped her to escape after the child was born.

Fergus & Marsali spotted Captain Leonard arrive at governor mansion and alarmed Jamie immediately. Jamie manservant finally have some information about Ian.

[Outlander Summary] S02E13: Dragonfly in Amber.

The opening scene of Outlander S02E13: Dragonfly in Amber is bring us to Scotland, 1968. Claire bring Brianna back to Scotland to give the last respect to a man who help her during her stay in Inverness with Frank, The Reverend. Every corner of Reverend's house bring Claire so many memories. Roger offer Claire and Brianna to stay at the house instead of drive back to London. [Outlander Summary] S02E10: Prestonpans.

Claire Fraser Monologue #1: How many men had I seen killed in war?. This Highlander who had run afoul of a Redcoat patrol was only the latest one. The rebellion Jamie and I had laboured so hard to prevent was upon us. Our only hope was that somehow we could change the outcome. I feared in my heart that history would not be rewritten.
