Outlander NYCC 2019 Contest Winner

Some of you probably know Outlander panel (Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Duncan LaCroix, Maria Doyle Kennedy, and David Berry) will be attend New York Comic Con 2019. They also will bring a lucky fan, Briana Smith, who just won a #OutlanderContestNYCC to meet entire cast in New York. As a person who also like to paint in my spare time (hobbyist), I honestly think her acrylic painting is beautiful. So, congratulation Briana!.

STARZ also created a pinterest collection for this contest. So happy to see a lot of Outlander fans are art and creative people.

[Outlander Summary] S05E05: Perpetual Adoration.

Claire Fraser Monologue #1: How many times have I put my hopes, my fears, my secret longings into the hands of a being I can't see, can't hear, can't even feel?. And how many times have my prayers been answered?. Part 2 Time is a lot of the things that people say God is. There's the preexisting and having no end. There's the notion of being all-powerful, because nothing can stand against time, not mountains, not armies. Give anything enough time, and everything is taken care of: all pain encompassed, all hardship erased, all loss subsumed. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Remember, Man, thou art dust, and unto dust thou shalt return. And if time is anything akin to God, I suppose that memory must be the devil. The episode begin with a flashback of Claire and Bree in Boston after Frank died. Jamie and his militia arrive in Hillsborough to collect men and meet with Lieutenant Knox. Knox gave Jamie a letter from governor Tyron that say he intends to pardon th...

[Outlander Summary] S02E01: Through a Glass, Darkly.

Claire Fraser Monologue #1: I wished I were dead. And if I'd kept my eyes shut, I could have almost touched the edges of oblivion. But I'd made a promise and had to keep it. Even if it meant living a life I no longer wanted. He was gone. They were all gone. The world I'd left only moments ago was now dust. Episode S02E01: Through a Glass, Darkly, start with a scene Claire laying on the grass of Craigh Na Dun, in year 1948. And the history didn't changed, British won the Battle of Culloden. Heart broken, weak, and disoriented with her surrounding, Claire is taken to the hospital. Frank immediately came to visit her when he heard the news. Awkwardness fill the room when they meet for the first time. Frank feel he's seeing his loving wife but Claire show an unexplained anger, don't know how to react with this new situation. When Frank try to touch her, Claire deny him. All she see is Black Jack. Reverend Wakefield offer his house for their tempo...

[Outlander Summary] S01E01: Sassenach.

For a tv show, the first episode is very important. Because it will determine whether the audience will continue watching or not. Well, I belong to this category. There is no chance for the second or third episode hehehe. Outlander S01E01 "Sassenach" managed to attract me to watch the next episodes because of the interesting and solid storyline, and strong characteristics. When in fact I am less interested with a story "traveling through time" background. Claire Randall Monologue # 1: People disappear all the time. Young girls run away from home. Children stray from their parents and are never seen again. Housewives take the grocery money, and a taxi to the train station. Most are found eventually. Disappearances, after all, have explanations. Usually. Strange, the things you remember. Single images and feelings that stay with you down through the years. Like the moment I realized I'd never owned a vase. That I'd never lived any place l...
